THE JUKE JOINTS

Over the years Bluefunk has had many Dutch musicians play for us. So many in fact it could almost suggest a strong affinity with this affable, talented near neighbour nation.  Sean Webster, Jon Amor, Sari Schorr, Ian Siegal, Beaux Gris Gris and many others have brought countless Dutch sidemen with them and we've never been less than impressed by their talent and wonderful personalities. Siegal and Webster have gone a step further and relocated there, and who can blame them.

 I am thrilled to keep bringing Johnny Foreigner into our hallowed halls while they are still able to afford to come.

This however is a first. This is not a few Dutch sidemen with a Brit artist but a genuine 100% Dutch band and not just any Dutch band, this is Holland's Blues Band of the Year 2012 and 2015. A very good band indeed.

 

They come highly recommended by several Bluefunksters who accidentally had the pleasure of stumbling across them at Linton Festival. Had the place bouncing apparently.
