Primal rock and roll, the sort we all love, is actually in short supply these days. You know the stuff I am talking about - what the Rolling Stones were doing in 1970 or the early days of the Allman Brothers. The stuff that made us who we are.
There are still some out there but most are either now just a little bit bloated or sound a little hackneyed and derivative or just pale imitations.
 
Imagine if Duane and Dickie had been born, grew up, and met in Chicago, they might have sounded just like these guys. Southern rock in a fedora. It's striking when you come face-to-face with the real thing.  Watch the tubes below, one is an original from their latest release and the other is them getting tricky with a pearl of a cover of a Dylan classic. A gem.
 
If that were not enough we have a really special bonus for you, opening this show is the Tasmanian Devil himself Rob Tognoni. Rob and his band played their own headline show for us a couple of years back. What a treat this night is going to be.
