Marcus Malone first visited Bluefunk with his own band several years ago and delighted us with his rich mahogany toned voice and soulful delivery. Hardly surprising when you learn he is a native of Detroit, the epicentre of soul.
Choosing to make his home in the UK, he later met and collaborated with Innes Sibun, an established Guitar player of major repute having played with the likes of Robert Plant and Sari Schorr. No slouch on guitar himself, Marcus found himself gelling nicely with Innes and inevitably the Malone Sibun band birthed itself.
Now established as popular regulars on the major Blues and Blues/Rock festivals across Europe. High time they came back to see us.
