I think the Bluefunk regulars know me by now and realise that I have got around the problem of having to wax lyrical about ordinary bands time after time. I just cut and paste a Boris Johnson interview from the Telegraph talking about himself and work in a few bogus quotes about someone else from a couple of Blues publications.  Bozo would be proud of me.......

.....but he's not, because that's not what I do.

My method is much simpler. I only book fantastic artists. How's that for being sneaky. All I have to do is tell the truth, boring and apparently impossible in Doris's world but joyful and inspirational in mine. So who are this lot then?  This is probably the best blues band in Germany. You don't have to believe me, just believe the Blues loving German public. They said so.....twice. 

Another trade secret for you - I listen, to a few hundred artists a year (how do you know you are getting the best if you haven't heard the worst?) and I listen to fans, and when a name like Kai Strauss keeps cropping up again and again. I tend to believe you and do something about it.
