Purpletones were one (in fact two) of the highlights of our anniversary weekender in September 2016. Over the 4 day event they played twice for us first with their super Quartet and also in their renowned duo format. On this occasion we get a set from the duo.

Delivering a mix of the most scintillating blues and soul with many original works from their 2015 released album. Trish Watt and Krystal Cooper will lift you on high. I am besotted with the vocal ability of Krystal, like Minnie Riperton reborn, she has a voice from another universe. Trish delivers a blues vocal as well as anyone and as a guitarist she is truly sublime, with most others trying to keep up with her. (and failing).
