Dave Sharp

In the heady days of the 1980's Dave Sharp conquered the world as the

lead guitarist with Pop Rock maestros The Alarm. One of a handful of English bands to comprehensively conquer the USA market, things looked set to continue in that vein for years to come but Dave is nothing if not his own master and after one US tour when the band returned home Dave stayed on and thus began his never ending tour of the USA and beyond, as a solo troubadour, searching for the real America and his own place in the  world and the grand scheme of things.

Over many years Dave has matured into a phenomenal songwriter, guitarist, and singer. Way beyond what you could ever imagine if you listen to the younger model of his Rock Star days.  To try and describe the new Dave to an Alarm fan would be pointless, you need to see him now and become a fan all over again. The stardust remains intact, the youthful ego has evaporated and a powerful flesh and blood takes its place, a tour de force.
